Norman Rockwell
Junior 90
I've been reading Joe 90 Annual strips to Junior this week before bed. He really likes them - Rat Trap and the like. It's the Annual with Big Rat in the cover.
Junior made a couple of observations: he asked if Mac's Car has the same legs and tyres as his die-cast Lunar Bug? Are they related?
The other thing was whether Joe 90 was as famous as Thunderbirds? We agreed that Thunderbirds was an A-lister, but where is Joe 90? B-list? What else are A and B- listers?
A LOOK AT THE CROMFORD 2024 EVENT
Once again, just some of the photos I took at the recent model show at Cromford Mills, Derbyshire.
Plenty to see for those, like me who enjoy seeing professional level studio scale models, with the added bonus of meeting up with a few mates.
Studio scale SPV cast by Studio 2 Models and built by Andy PrestonAlien fighter craft from the film, Independence Day, built by Andy Preston.
Narcissus lifeboat from Alien, built by Andy Preston.
I have to admit these events have become more of a social gathering for me nowadays, and it's always great to catch up in person.
Here's David Sisson with Jon Pertwee lookalike, Scott Goodman.
In recent times the event has rebranded itself as a comic con , and for the first time this year they had a guest appearance of former Doctor Who, Colin Baker.
Quite a few replica puppets on display, from several exhibiters, including Mamas & Linda Pitsillis, Lee Alwood (displayed by Larry Peterson), an David Sisson.

Gripping Plans
This gorgeous pile of Action Man, Little Big Man and friends' accessories was given to me by my good pal Bill.
There's so many great items here, I'm still going through them. I have plans for some.
What can you see readers?
Royal Armouries Leeds
A recent flying visit to the Royal Armouries gift shop boasted these fab mini model weapons.
Looking at them I had Action Man on my mind and wondered why Palitoy never did a Knight in armour suit? It would have been great.
Mini Helmets
Life size Ammo boxes
Any good?
MONSTROUSLY NUTTY MAD AND WEIRD
I love plastic friction novelty toys.
This monstrous fish I saw online caught my eye!
