Hello and Happy Bloggiversary
Attached a couple of piccies of the Defenders of the Earth Garax figure. I am not too familiar with the lore of the animated series that it is based on, but Wikipedia says he's an ice robot and the leader of Ming the Merciless' robot army.
The Garax figure measures 12,5 cm and comes with an interesting red weapon attaching to his right arm. The figure is made of hard plastic, except for the head which is made of soft vinyl. His face looks like it inspired Hannibal Lecter's muzzle, as seen in the Silence of the Lambs. On his abdomen he carries a picture of his master, Ming the Merciless.
On the back, there is a black knob which brings one arm up and another down at the same time. As with all the figures in the series, there is a marking © KFE/KFS on his back, referring to King Features Syndicate whose characters all the DotE figures are based on.
For me Garax is one of the most fascinating action figures I've come across.
