ANNIVERSARY LUCKY BAGS UPDATE

All those readers who have ordered a blog anniversary lucky bag I am pleased to tell you that you will be receiving one.

Now that final numbers have been finalised I shall package each one up and get them off to you..

As I am currently unwell and laid up with a bad cold shipping will begin next Saturday.

I wanted to send you a congratulatory note on the tenth anniversary of Moonbase! 

Wow, ten years and I have been following the blog for quite a few of those. 

I hope you can put my message up on the blog somewhere and let all the contributors know that I send them my best wishes on this August occasion! 

Well, the autumn is well and truly upon us again and I can already taste the Halloween season in the air. I have always loved this time of year.

All the very best and thanks no end for the great Moonbase Blog.

 Have you enjoyed our tenth birthday week's celebrations?

Its been enjoyable putting it all together at this end.

I'm sorry if I haven't replied to all the many comments that you've left, for which I'm very grateful.

With a full time job and collating the blog material each night for the next day I ran out of time to reply/ respond to comments this week. Sorry.

I'll try to respond as soon as I can.

Next week I shall be taking some time off the blog. In my absence Bill B will take the helm at Moonbase.

TENTH BIRTHDAY FINALE EXCLUSIVE: CENTURY 21 AND PROJECT SWORD IN GAMES AND TOYS TRADE JOURNALS

This year I was fortunate enough to acquire a group of vintage UK toy trade magazines.

They included much to interest the space toy collector, Century 21 enthusiast and fans of Project SWORD and SpaceX toys.

Many of these pages are new to the blog. I hope you like them.

The magazines were a group of Games and Toys kindly donated by blog friend Terry H and a fine copy of Toys International.

Oddly enough all the magazines were bought from a dealer in Spain.

For speed I have just taken photographs. Some aren't great sorry.

One day I will scan them.

If you need specific dates for any page then just ask.
