With Scoop's cool Star Hawk post freshly in my mind I was amazed to see an object just like it on TV. It appeared in the Family Guy double-episode It's A Trap, a spoof of Return of The Jedi. The rough shape is pictured above.
The object featured in the background during the Darth Vader/ Emperor battle with Luke in the Death Star. Now Family Guy is animated so the object I saw was also animated. Search as I might I can't find the object in any stills of the real film online.
The idea of a Star Wars object looking like the Star Hawk makes complete sense to me as the Star Team range is a classic Star Wars knockoff, so I feel that this idea does have some legs.
Short of watching Return of the Jedi again tonight does anybody know what I'm prattling on about?
