and of course! Our favourite! This time a beautiful pedal car style toy version from 2011. I have read the blurb on this and have no idea where it is or who made it!

and for the kid who had everything, the Shama Rolls pedal car! [OK, its red]

COMPUTERISED ROLLS ROYCE CORNICHE

I saw this on Adams Auctions and saved the pics. I just love that gold Rolls Royce Corniche. What a beauty! I would have loved that as a kid. I had a few plastic prestige cars like a red stretch Mercedes with luggage in the boot.

Looks like Rolls is computerised. Wonder what it did?

THE SPOT-ON PHANTOM V ROLLS-ROYCE

The Spot-On range by Tri-ang was fairly short-lived, only lasting from 1959 to 1967. All the Spot-On models were to the same scale, 1/42nd, which was unusual in the world of die-casts, where larger vehicles are usually made to smaller scales.

Model number 260 was the Royal Rolls-Royce, which was released in 1963. 

It was a Phantom V limousine, with a tall roof, and glass (clear plastic) rear section so that the occupants could be seen when on parade. Figures of the Queen, Prince Philip, a driver, and footman were included. With a Royal flag on the roof.

The model had a maroon body, and light grey baseplate.

There was also a Royal Occasion Gift Set, number 806, which included the Royal Rolls-Royce, six British Foot Guards in bearskin caps, and a little boy called Tommy Spot. This came in a much longer box, which converted into a model theatre.

HUDSON HAWK TALK

 I like Rolls Royces. I always have.

FAB1 is my fave but I like all Rolls.

Here's one I never saw on telly because I didn't watch Terrahawks for some reason.

This is the Hudson Rolls Royce.

The Bandai 1983 Hudson has been featured before on MC [Wotan has one] here's a snap from an old Ebay listing, which for me shows the toy in all its plastic glory. It isn't very big either.

I've never seen one in the flesh or ever seen one at a car boot sale so they can't be very common.

TERRAHAWKS HUDSON

One of the lesser known vehicles of the Anderson universe, at least to me, the Hudson Rolls Royce from Terrahawks would make an interesting addition to any collection.

Gerry Anderson's Other Rolls Royce: The Hudson

As discussed yesterday FAB1 has to be one of the most famous cars in the world.

Well, maybe to a certain generation like ours!

Although less well known, Gerry Anderson's universe included another Rolls Royce, the Hudson from TV's Terrahawks. It could change colour, drive itself and speak.

Now the Hudson is not a car I personally know and only stumbled across a toy one at a boot sale in the last 10 years. Even then I didn't know what it was and have only realised later.

Here it is carded released by Bandai as it has appeared on Ebay.

The Hudson reminds me of the modern beast of a Rolls, the Phantom that I see on the roads here from time to time. More like an armoured car than a Rolls to my untrained eye, its certainly a spectacle!
