A Look of Total Terra

 I'm not a Terrahawks fan - I simply didn't see it as I lived abroad at the time - but I appreciate the effort that went into designing the neat fleet.

So distinct are they and so orange, that its easy spotting the Bandai Popy toys from the show when on a car boot stall.

Bingo!

I picked these two up for a pound each. Not complete, they've since made two proper Terrahawks fans happy via eBay! 

Are they vehicles and toys you like readers?

KEV'S ZEROID FOOTBALL

Hi,

Managed to get this item from my past recently. Oddly, not from my childhood this time. I had one of these in my early twenties. I used to have it perched on the base of a Coke bottle. 

Now, in my late fifties, I have a studio scale, radio controlled replica perched on an original studio prop! (some small evidence of progress?). Interestingly, the ball is the right size!

TERRAHAWKS FLIGHT COMMAND BY ACTION GT

One of the very first, if not the first vintage toy I ever bought at a car boot sale, the 1984 Terrahawks Flight Command game by Action GT.

Even though I'd never seen Terrahawks I knew it was a great find. Back in 1990 stuff like thins went for a song too at boot sales. Being only 6 years old as well it was in really great nick.

Sadly, like all those early finds, I sold the game through my mail order toy sales I'd started up at the time.

Wish I hadn't now!

All these shots are from various old online auctions.

Essentially you had to guide a floating polystyrene ball around an assault course of Terrahawks figures and craft if I recall.

A superbly complex toy!

Is it well-liked by Terrahawks collectors nowadays?

The end of each Terrahawks episode had an animation of the Zeroids and Cubes playing noughts and crosses (animated by a chap with the same name as myself oddly!).

Hi Woodsy,

Windsor Davies, the voice of the robots on Terrahawks has died. Don't know if that merits a mention. 

While I never liked "It Aint Half Hot Mum", I recognise that another distinctive actor of our times has died.

I have acquired an original Gerry Anderson prop, something I never thought I'd do. It is one of the Zeroid perches from Treehawk in Terrahawks (the port one I think!). Here it is with my replica Zeroid perched on it. I'm very pleased with it.

THE FUTURE IS FANTASTIC: OVERLANDER MODEL FROM TERRAHAWKS

Another model on display at the F.I.F from model maker David Sisson is the Overlander supply vehicle from Terrahawks,

I might not be the biggest Terrahawks fan in the world, but I do like some of the model designs that appeared in the series.

The Overlander was designed by Steve Begg, and made its first appearance in the episode, 'Close Call'.

It made two more appearances (apart from compilation episodes); 'Thunderpath' and' Zero's Finest Hour' in which the model had lights fitted.

Well, it gets a Ten-Ten from me.

DAVID SISSON SPACEHAWK

This studio scale Spacehawk replica from Terrahawks is a recent build and addition to David Sisson's model collection.

It looks very impressive close up, and like the original built by Phil Rae, David must have saved up loads of disposable razors to build it.
