The X-90: A Flying Start

Another example of this lovely X series toy appeared on auction this year so I kept the pics.

The X-90 Future Flying Saucer Car.

Almost certainly a JR21 toy without the branding.

Beautifully boxed, this one looked complete.

Anyone got one?

My Four Books on Jack Rosenthal JR Toys

My four books on Jack Rosenthal's toys are now all available as standard size hardbacks.

Protected by colour dust jackets, they are published by Blurb.

The two top titles look at Jack's X space toys and S.W.O.R.D box art, non-TV.

The two bottom titles look at Jack's friction animal novelties and small plastic vehicles.

Google for Blurb discount codes before any purchases!

Thanks.

Dinner For One!

Hi Woodsy

I am afraid I do not know too much about this furry gentleman, who is about to tuck in to a pretty substantial looking fish dinner. Apart from the fact that it looks to be friction-powered, Made in Hong Kong, and was numbered No.417 on the underside.

There are two wheels under the red box, and a single wheel under the barrel. Bizarre, but cute.

Four photographs from Worthpoint.

Paul Adams from New Zealand

The rest of the Dining Cat photos. I have no idea what his real name is. Another toy I stumbled across while looking for something else.

Yours Sincerely,

Paul from NZ

My New Book! Fantastic Plastic

 My new book is out!

Fantastic Plastic.

It's a look at the X-series of space toys, with big fab colour photos by Bill.

This is the third volume I've published about Jack Rosenthal toys since 2019.

Like the others, it's available through Blurb.

If you're interested always check first for their discount codes before purchase.

Cold and Recovery

Well, the whole family - daughter, SiL, Grandkids, Missus and me - has been struck by the common cold and members are at varying stages of misableness.

After keeping it in abeyance this weekend somehow whilst attending a large family gathering in Leyland its geared up with avengance today, so I've been in bed most of this Monday on my new laptop and drinking hot tea in between sneezes.

A big job has been trying to recover a corrupted file for my latest book project with Blurb on the X-series of toys.

After several hours of re-pasting Bill's fabulous photos and my archived pictures, Stage 1 of the recovery has uploaded and I now need to complete Stage 2, the text edits again, which will take a good hour.

More steaming Yorkshire tea is required before I carry on though.

Have you got a cold?

Have you ever lost or corrupted an important computer file readers? Did you recover it?
