 An interesting set I saw last year by Dekker Toys. 

Are those LP vehicles and figures in there?

Galleon Star Adventurer

I saw this old auction item listed as being by Galleon of Hong Kong.

I thought it was an LP toy.

Who are Galleon?

New to the blog - I think! - this LP bag of Farm Friends I saw on Worthpoint. 

I like the header art. It has a sort of Disneyesque look to it.

I imagine each individual animal and figure is numbered on the base too.

Have you got anything like this readers! 

LP Set Undersea Expedition Lik Be #303D

We've seen it before but what a set from LP, mixing their three specialities, animals, deep sea divers and space! 

What a box too! But why the D on the end of 303? (Just about visible on the front edge).

Anyone got one?

LP CIRCUS ANIMALS SET: NEW TO THE BLOG

Well, its been LN LP Tuesday!

Not only did we have a cool new LN Mechanical Fish, now we have this full set of LP animals new to MC!

The Ebay listing says it was found in a retail box of four. The set comes boxed in a plain white carton and appears to have its own colourful background card, which I think portrays a circus.

This circus idea fits as we've seen a LP Circus Car before, albeit different: http://projectswordtoys.blogspot.com/2016/08/lp-brand-circus-car-toy.html

This set contains lots of animals new to the blog and I can only assume that they are indeed LP. The set contains just 4 of the 10 known jazz band players.

Does anyone know anymore about this circus set or LP animals at all?

This set is listed by Its Sold Here in Pennsylvania, USA on Ebay.com as an IDL set.

Given the number of LN and LP toys we know about, including all these animals, it'd be great to have a full list with model numbers and small pics maybe. Some work has already been done and there's tons of info here on MC [labels and search!] and Paul Vreede's wonderful Triang SpaceX Toys website.

Anyone fancy doing it whilst we're in solitary?

LP UPDATE 2: CULPITTS ASTRONAUTS AND FRILLS

 Ever since first reading about the link between LP astronauts and Culpitts the cake decorators in One Inch Warrior magazine I was fascinated and always looked out for examples.

Here's a good one I saw this year on Ebay.

It's a couple of paper and cellophane bags containing LP silver spacemen, together with a bundle of space related cake frills.

Here's one paper frill up close.

I presume that this is how they were sold in cake shops as well as loose.

I've seen generic Culpitts boxes but not one for Spacemen specifically so these bags are maybe as close as we get to Culpitts packaging maybe.

LP TOY UPDATE

Some more LP astronauts new to the blog.

Here's a nice set of silver LP Space Men in a neat LP branded window box.

The background art looks like a lift of Bob McCall's.

The McCall imagery continues on the box rear with the super space plane.

Interestingly for SWORDies like me, the little craft zooming across the moonscape is the front cab from the Nuclear Ferry, which Bob McCall also painted. This links it to the box art of the Century 21 Toy Nuclear Ferry box!

Its become a Christmas tradition of mine to shove a couple of vintage space toys into an empty shower gel gift box!

I started in 2016.

Here's the gift set out the box comprising of an LP Moon Explorer, Paul Kaiju Pink Martian and an LP Spaceman.

LP TOYS: LATEST SIGHTINGS

First up is this bundle of Japanese Omake. 

Green LP style spaceman on top, which looks like he's a blow mould.

and in a similar pile of Glico's and Omake we find a little blue LP style alien.

This one is clearly the worst LP astronaut clone I've ever seen. Maybe its been exposed to the full corona of Alpha Proxima!

These chaps are dapper LP types lookin for a good time.

Perhaps my fave sighting this year, this Lunar Pistol carded set. I love the header artwork. Not sure if this is actually LP. Does anyone know? 

There's another version on Alphadrome 

One we may have seen before on MB. The deranged LP Rabbit Space Blimp.

It has a moving umbrella!

WE DIVE AGAIN: THE LP UNDERSEA EXPEDITION BOX SET

Here's another and different boxed LP diver.

Undersea Expedition.

This is on Ebay [pamclay1].

It comes in a very ornately decorated window box. The box art is quite something, quite unlike anything else I've seen from LP.

The contents comprise of our friend the deep sea diver figure, three plastic fish stood on stands and a peculiar red undersea sub shaped like a fish. The silver diver appears the same as the others we've seen from LP.

The box base includes the model number 303 D.

The box top depicts a rather neat deep sea diver.

Has anyone come across this set before?

ONE MORE DIVE: THE LP UNDER SEA WAR CAR

Diving further into LP diver toys, yesterday I talked about LP's deep sea diver figures and LN's Space Explorer diving sub.

Well here's a boxed set that combines them both.

The Under sea War car by LP.

You can see its a window box with a rising header.

It has the LP model number 302-A.

there appears to be a label on the top edge of the box indicating a registered design applied for but I can't make out the number.

The contents comprise f 3 deep sea divers and the one-man sub, this time  red.

An added feature is the harpoon gun on the rear of the sub.

The set came with a small bag of harpoons.

The artwork is excellent with more than a little hint of James Bond's Thunderball I would say.

Anyone got this set?
