I found this in my photo archive. An interesting collage of toys connected by LP-type and other spacemen.
My file name is Novolinea but I'm unsure what that is. Maybe a brand? Maybe it says it on this header but I can't make it out. I love the header card artwork.
Of great interest is this boxed Star Adventurer. It appears to be an unusual LP style Explorer with a bag of LP style spacemen and aliens.
I've never seen this boxed set again. I think this one was sold by Main Street Toys in the US. Apart from that I know very little about this unusual boxed version of a space toy we know well on Moonbase and one which many of you may have as an LP or X- model.
Does anyone know more about the Star Adventurer?
Hi Woodsy,
ReplyDeleteThe Cape Kennedy Astronauts seem very close to the various Marx space playsets. I have one playset left of Cape Canaveral, I will see if I can find it and try to send pics.

Superb Jim. Thanks.
DeleteHi Woodsy,
ReplyDeletethe fluo figures are a late "edition" of the Comansi "aliens" that were originally sold in the same years of these spacemen: http://www.danefield.com/data/displayimage-search-0-4533.html#top_display_media
