That's an amazing collection of weaponry you've built there Kevin, most convincing and impressive! Alien invaders landing near you better behave themselves! Best -- Paul V
I worked with an ex-pat UK model maker called Tom Davies. He worked in the Dr Who prop department in the 80's. He went on about building guns and things. He said the Supervisor's standard proceedure for a finished prop was to drop it and if it survived, it was ready for filming!
I think my Blake's 7 models on 'Tonight with Jonathan Ross' might be on YouTube. Some of my props sneak onto dvd special features and my cybergun was on BBC Breakfast last year!

Thank you. I'd be OK as long as the aliens give me time to change the batteries!

ReplyDeleteHa ha, I like that test. None of my creations would survive!
ReplyDeleteI dropped one of my Blake's 7 guns on my car once, it was fine but it chipped the car!
DeleteSuperb work Kev. Stunning guns. Have you ever loaned any out for action?
ReplyDeleteThey've cropped up in a few places, sneaked onto the odd video and onto TV a couple of times.
DeleteDo you know if those clips are online Kevin?

ReplyDeleteYou're a legend in your own Tardis Kev! Fabulous. I've shown the Jonny Ross clip here. If you have the links to any others then do send them!
