WAS GARY SEVEN ALONE?

I recall a Star Trek episode involving a character called Gary Seven. Do you?

His mission was to tamper in some way with the first Apollo moon shot as the rocket stood ready on the gantry. I forget what he had to do.

It reminds me of something similar in the Men in Black films. I think its 2 or 3, where a young Tommy Lee Jones' character has to put something on the Apollo rocket.

I imagine there are more instances of this in film and comics. Did it ever happen in Gerry Anderson's worlds?

Secret Agent Coder Tin Lunch Box 1968

I'd never seen this Secret Agent lunch box before when it was auctioned last month on the Bay. I saved the images for the blog. The effective artwork is just great, especially the dark blue rocket with the red sky background.

By King-Seeley this thermos set is dated 1968 from the very heart of the spy craze. I suppose spies had to eat lunch as well so why not a tin snap box and a thermos flask!

The combination of spies and rockets is interesting. Two storylines spring to mind, a Star Trek episode episode about espionage around the Saturn V I think and a comic story involving an agent called Gary Seven, maybe TV21. Ring any bells?

Anyways, these spies are getting far too hot around this flask so here are the pictures.

Most of us will have heard of Agent 21 from the pages of TV21, but are you familiar with Gary Seven?

I caught sight of Seven the other week on my beloved Horror Channel appearing in the original Star Trek series.

He immediately reminded me of Agent 21, minus those deadly toys.

I shall dig further into the Seven file and get back to you, but in the meantime please brief us on any intel you may possess.
