Blue Milk Cheer

Hi Woodsy. Still holed up in New Jersey and fighting boredom with creativity.

I have seen the subject of Star Wars Blue Milk brought up several times on Moonbase and decided to search for more info.

I learned that the new Disney Star Wars themed parks in California and Florida (sadly closed for health concerns) feature special Star Wars themed menu items, including Blue Milk!

The drink is described as creamy, with an infusion of tropical fruit flavors. That inspired me to search my own pantry for possible ingredients for my own version!

Here is what I scrounged up and I am pleased with the results.

I simply put all ingredients in a blender and added a few drops of blue food coloring. The drink is very good as is, but on my second try, I added some crushed ice and a shot of rum for a tasty adult beverage.

star wars blue milk anyone?

Remember Luke's blue milk in Star Wars?

He drinks some for breakfast down on the moisture farm.

What would be the easiest way of making drinkable blue milk like this?

Blue milk in rogue one

I caught the much anticipated Star Wars Rogue One on the sixteenth of December. I enjoyed it immensely.

I won't discuss it here now as many people have yet to see it.

I will mention one thing though. The film brings back that icon of the first Star Wars in 1977, namely blue milk.

It featured prominently in the breakfast scene on Luke's Uncle's moisture farm in 77.

I pops up, albeit less prominently, in the new film.

tupperware toys?

I've always loved plastic and as a medium it seems to have attracted good designers in the Sixties and Seventies.

Companies like Casdon spring to mind. They made a very classy cash register that came with a kite mark of classiness on the box. They also made a rather neat football game made of plastic, which was endorsed by Sixties legend Bobby Charlton.

But I have never associated Tupperware with well designed toys. The wheeled manned vehicles above are Tupperware.
