RICHARD'S RECYCLED DAY-FRAN GLIDER PROJECT

On my Day-F-Ran Glider, where the round Wheel system was - I inserted a Cap off an old Shower Gel Bottle - perfect size !! - painted it Chrome Silver, so it looks just like a Big Lift Engine !!

I painted all the glider inside Silver, so the orange plastic looked good on the outside, blanked off the rear wheel wells with black plasticard painted & detailed the Pilot & Cockpit, added loads of decals & Striping to the body & had some PROJECT SWORD Stickers made off the web - 

really pleased with the way it turned out !!

DAY FRAN SPACE GLIDER IN MARYLAND

Whilst I'm searching for SWORD on the Bay I couldn't help noticing another possible for American readers who collect Project SWORD in some form. 

There's a nice Space Glider in Maryland. Its the less well known knockoff by DAY-f-RAN, a brand often shortened to Day Fran.

Its a cheapo but interesting knockoff of the Project SWORD Space Glider and would form a great addition in a space glider collection.

The plastic glider is in good shape but the box will need some tender loving care. Maybe you have the time whilst you're staying at home now!

So, a nice condition Day Fran Space Glider in Edgewood, Maryland.

Day-F-Ran O-Ran-Ge

I've owned a Day F Ran Space Glider for some years now. Probably the cheapest looking of all the Space Glider knockoffs, I have, however, always liked the bright orange colour. Looking through my photo archives, I noticed this Day F Ran Rolls Royce. Despite being in its box, it does look as though it's the same bright orange as the Space Glider. Anyone got both to compare?
