His recent Fireball XL5 build is around three and half feet long , David doesn't do small models, he likes them at least studio scale size or larger.
He's contemplating building a new Stingray model as he doesn't feel this model is quite the right shape, although he does say when researching them, it seems each of the various studio models did vary slightly.
Dave brought along all the Thunderbirds, apart from Thunderbird 5 (which I did seeat this year's Andercon) I love his chosen version of Thunderbird 1 with the larger TB1 letraset on the side of the hull.
You can't have a Thunderbird models display without a large studio scale Thunderbird 2.
Or a large model of Thunderbird 3!
David's super model of Thunderbird 4. The colour and finish is spot on.
David's Fab 1 model as used in 'Parker's Day Off', the Swinton Insurance advert.
Stunning Scoop. He is the Master! God knows how he does it. Beautiful.

ReplyDeleteMy pleasure, Andy, glad you like photos.
DeleteAbsolutely stupendous. The man is a true artist. Talking of which, good to see those original art boards of TV Century 21 pages behind the models.
