A brisk stroll round Barnsley villages Darton and Cawthorne in freezing temps garnered a few things today.
A gladiator, a Cabbage Patch, a Hot Wheels to round it up to 6 items, three plastic subs, the yellow one being part Stingray!
A mooch round Barnsley's charity shops this week was fun.
My inexpensive haul this time: three built-up plastic kit aircraft, four lovely red vinyl fairy tale 45's including Cinderella narrated by Dickie Attenborough and a paperback by Leo Kessler.
These will all be tidied up and form part of my winter sale on eBay, funds generated to finance my ongoing VHS project.
The three empty video cases are for said project too. Trucks, the novel, is now part of my 80's pulp horror paperback shelf.
The old Waddingtons Ashore game is the Missusses for the Grandkids.

A mosey round the huge Elsecar emporium, despite not buying anything, did throw up a few things to photograph.
A Tufty Club bendy. It must have been a bigger deal than I recall on TV, the Tufty Club. I've seen books, games and now a bendy!
With the final remnants of Christmas flickering like a fading star in the January gloom the Missus and me wandered round the Elsecar Antiques two-floor emporium near Barnsley this week, which is always fun. Still lots of ice everywhere after the recent northern cold snap. Brrrr!

A trip this week to a nearby Barnsley emporium was fun.
Amidst the thousands of send hand treasures on two huge floors I spotted a few for the blog.
This array of die-casts caught my eye.
A recent trip out to Elsecar antiques in Barnsley is always interesting. Two massive floors of collectables. I had a bad back so I walked quite gingerly.
As I slowly wandered I took some pics for Moonbase.

I bought these two Superfast, 50 pence each.
