I found this clip on You Tube, showing the first box of Hot Wheels 2021 models being unboxed. Yes, 2021 models start appearing towards the end of 2020, which is normal for Hot Wheels, although I have not seen any in NZ yet.
There are several which I think will be of interest to you. There is a model - part of a sub-set ? - devoted to Mattel games; a red Arkham Asylum Batmobile, and a Barbie camper van.
Looks like 2021 will be a good year!
