Short story comp guys!
Can you write a short story that fits this picture I took this morning of Captain Scarlet, a letter and Batman?
Funny, yes! Serious, just as good.
Doesn't have to be long, a paragraph will suffice. Can you entertain us?
If not a paragraph then at least a caption!
What Joker shrank Captain Scarlet?!!
ReplyDeleteIt was when he stumbled into the Minimiser on the Secret Service set Kev!
DeleteDear Santa;
ReplyDeleteCan you please send me something to dissuade the bats in my belfry this Christmas, I've been a very good boy, all year, and killed lots of Mysterons. I hope your elves are all well and that Rudolf's nose is shinier than ever.
Lots of Love

DeleteIt was the morning before Robin's birthday.
ReplyDeleteBatman was awoken by a noise outside the Bat Cabin. He stepped out onto the porch. Before him was one of those Spectrum guys, all leather caps, boots and glowing epaulettes, next to the post box.
Rubbing his eyes, Batman realised it was Captain Grey, posting something.
He'd heard, of course, about Grey's collection of sunglasses. "He must have at least 50 shades by now." he thought.
But what was he posting this early ?
And then it dawned on him. It's Robin's birthday tomorrow. "That's right." thought the Caped Crusader. A good father wouldn't miss a day like this.
After all, Robin is really Dick, Greys-son !
Mish.
Oh now that's a neat short tale Mish with a revealing ending! Loved it!
