It looks almost exactly like the Kenner Easy Show projector from the 1960s. I had one then and I bought another a few years ago on ebay. I wish we could see the Japanese version's movie "cassettes". The Easy Show used a semi-contained reel that looped like an 8-track audio tape cartridge. A good look at the Kenner projector hardware: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ge4r2eXmDVM
Looks rather more sophisticated than our 'Give A Show' Projector slide shows.
ReplyDeleteAnd it comes with a screen.
Fantastic !
I agree Mish. It looks superb and now you mention it, I can see the screen!
DeleteThese small, battery-operated 8mm projectors were ubiquitous at the time, but I sure never saw one sold with an Ghidorah movie - fantastic! SFZ
ReplyDeleteIt is isn't it!
