Never seen lunar loop in action before. And that DC9 - love those little gimmicks! Thanks Kev
Thanks, the dc9 is the one I had as a child.
Oh, and so is the Lunar loop!
From the sound and steering of that DC 9 I think I once flew in that very aircraft!
It's avoiding the kitchen table leg on the runway that's the trick!
What a wonderful collection of toys. Although I would not want to be inside the craft that is trapped in the Lunar Loop - it looks a pretty rough ride. Thanks for sharing these treasures with us.
Thanks. Yep, I'd skip lunch on the Lunar loop.

Matchbox Motorway was the one I had. It was chain driven, as I recall. Or have I miss-remebered ?
That's right. Two continuous springs under the road surface and pegs stuck to the cars slot between the spring coils.
I think we had the Matchbox Motorway when we were kids. But, by the time I came along it was broken. I remember asking my older brothers to set it up, but I don't think I ever saw it run.
Lunar Loop! I had that one, what a great toy! Certainly a workout for the astronauts! SFZ
That working DC-9 is brilliant! SFZ
The motorway is somehow very Century 21! I wonder if they were tempted to use it?
All cool, but my favorite is the airliner!
