That looks like great fun. Just a thought - blue on black is not the easiest combination to read. The laws of Heraldry have lasted centuries for a reason - they work.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you have a problem reading blue on black,Paul, it's how it ended up after being cut and pasted from the original notification. I, personally don't have a problem reading it,myself.
DeleteAgain, I must apologise as I have no idea what the laws of Heraldry are, but I have to say I find your final comment abrupt and a little offensive.
These sets look great Scoop! I'm sure the combination of Space 1999 and lego-styling will prove a hit with collectors.
ReplyDeleteSorry Scoop. I really did not mean to offend or upset anyone. That is certainly not what Moonbase Central is about, and I respect the rules. It has always been a very friendly and welcoming site. Please accept my apologies for any offence - it was totally unintended. I really enjoyed the photos, and all your posts.
ReplyDeleteBasically the laws of Heraldry are that colours (red, blue, black, green, and purple) should not be used on other colours, and that metals (white/silver and yellow/gold) are also not used on each other. Metal on colour, or colour on metal, is just easier to read. That was all I meant.
I was curious as to the origin of the bricks and I now understand that KitBrix is 1612's in-house bricks branding, rather than a separate company so I'm not quite sure who the ultimate supplier is.
