Having been away in the land which gave us the V2 rocket for a week I'm suffering from serious SWORD withdrawal symptoms.
Not only did I not have any online access at all but after having frequented a number of German flea markets, I have to say there was also a distinct dearth of space toys of any kind. OK, there was the odd astronaut amongst the piles and piles of Playmobil, which appears to be the national collectable of choice along with Kinder toys, but as for 'normal' space toys, not a sausage. I did pick up a couple of old books and videos and a german Action Man so I suppose it could be wurst! ha ha!
So what would you suggest as the quickest remedy for my cold "toykey" before I get the dithering trembles from lack of weltraumspielzeugen [German for space toys]?
Glad to have you back Woodsy. Considering the scope of damage, your condition calls for some serious and effective resuscitation. As first aid, I would prescibe at least an hour browsing the Alphadrome database. But it will be a long way to full recovery. ..
ReplyDeleteWell i just picked up a doyble dvd of tbird 6 and t burds are go, new for £2.98!
ReplyDeleteAssuming you have toys boxed away like most of us, go pick one at random and have a peek. With luck you'll find toys you forgot you had, and be glad to rediscover them all over again. :)
