Spacex superfan Paul Vreede has been in touch - he has a wonderful Spacex Moon Buggy - see the excellent picture above - that's obviously based on the same Grumman vehicle. His Buggy sadly misses its driver. He' d be interested to know when the Paya Lunar Jeep was made ( Rob Godwin has contected the blog to say its 1973 on the box - thanks Rob). The co-existence of the Paya and Spacex versions of this vehicle is most likely a coincidence? or? (Postscript: the 1973 date places the Paya toy 3- 4 years after the 1960's Spacex one - Paul)
