It's Sunday night. I've just washed up after a cracking roast chicken dinner and I thought I'd go on the blog awhile. I've got some new pictures of the Moonship and the X60 Rocket Launcher - but not by Century/ JR21 - but that's one for later!
'Bout time we looked at that elsusive half- sister of PROJECT SWORD toys, the fabulous LUNAR CLIMBER. It first popped up on this blog in a Moonship/ Lunar Climber thread between the 15 - 17th September 2008, where all the discussion about Project SWORD .v. Project MOON is. Thought I'd follow up with a few pictures of fantastic Climbers by different manufacturers from readers of the blog.
The Paramount pics were tracked down by the unstoppable WOTAN. For more amazing japanese space kits, some very SWORDESQUE, visit the original site they came from:
The Century 21 and Paya climbers are both offa Ebay in 2007. Any more Lunar Climbers out there Swordlings?
The inevitable question now is - did the Lunar Climber appear in the Project Sword comic strips in TV21 / SOLO comics? It's not in the PS Annual, 'cos I've checked!
Over and out
Paulo
