Months ago I picked up this old small North American Van Lines die-cast.
It's livery was battered.

I've just seen that book publisher Blurb are having a one day sale. This includes my own book on JR21 novelty and animal toys published in 2019.
Normally Blurb charge a ridiculously prohibitive price but today it's 30% off and free UK shipping ( so another saving of £8.99), which means today's price is around £30.
It's a nice large glossy hardback book with dust jacket, tons of photographs of these more obscure JR21 toys.
I do not benefit financially from this in any way. Blurb get the money. I am simply trying to get my book into the hands of a few more collectors' hands. It's not half bad if I say so myself.
The discount code is FALLDAYS30 You input this right at the end of checkout before payment.
Here's the link to my book

Choose The option with cheaper paper and dust jacket to get Blurb's lowest price and then apply the discount code shown above.
these pics of a toy spaceship caught my eye over on Spain's Todocollecion site a while back.
From Mattel 1984, this leaflet for Wheeled Warriors was on the Boonsart sale site.
I have a Wheeled Warriors VHS tape in the attic somewhere, but I've never watched it.
Is it a toy range too?
It was with great sadness that I read of David McCallum's passing yesterday. He was 90.
I remember the young David clearly from when I was a kid watching The Man from Uncle where he played the fantastically named Illya Kuryakin, half of the secret agent double act that propelled him to stardom in the heat of the 1960's spy and agent craze.
By way of farewell here are the opening credits of the Man from Uncle TV series, where David's talents really shone back when we were spies zooming round the floor with our Corgi Thrushbuster.
Do you remember David McCallum readers?
Bill Ev's keen eyes have helped me pinpoint the larger of the two mystery units on the last post.
Its a toy Redbox/ Salco Secret Agent Transmitter Gun!
Result!
Did you have one of these? How did it fire toy ammo?
Now just the smaller red one, which might say Fun Transmitter along the top?
