Is that an ink jet or laser print? I find ink jets can fade or go blurry over time, so i prefer lasers despite the additional cost (it gives you a result identical to a commercial photo copy) In addition, I use a glossy paper which, with a semi or high gloss spray varnish top coat gives me a finish just like toy stickers.
Trying to replicate Tampo effects? I use clear or white A4 sized sheets of waterslide de al paper in my printer. The clear allows artwork over the background colour, thw white gives you solid clours. With a bit of clever layering you can get the best of both worlds. If you use Decal softener or just Methylated spirits, you can soften the decal around shallow curves or grooves. I've used all these techniques on these fake tin toys I made back in 2010...
Its just a standard laser copier Looey - as its a work one, they aren't keen on me feeding it special papers, so I just had to go with the standard stuff. Worked quite nicely I think! Bill
