LP SPACE ROCKET BOXES

Once again checking Vectis' old sales I found two neat listings for the LP Space Rocket. The bottom box is the more usual one. The Star Adventurer is the other really smart box, which came with LP astronauts and aliens.

OUTER SPACE MAN JEEP?

I had to look twice at this Shambers Jeep from Spain I saw on Todocollecion.

The card art looked familiar.

Here's the super cool backing card for Xodiac from the glorious Colourforms Outer Space Men series of figures. 

This is what it reminded me of.

Coincidence?

The photography on these cards is utterly magnificent. What do you think the lampshade type object is that Xodiac has on his shoulders? Was it bespoke made?

MULTIPLE TOYMAKERS SPACE HAWK SET

I've never seen this 1967 set before, Space Hawk Arsenal. Its a Multiple Toymakers toy space weapon set. Its one I've not even noticed on Ebay over the years. In fact this is the only picture and reference I can find online, on Todocollecion!

Do any American readers recall this set?

MORE MOONING

As we appear to be on an astronomy kick on Moonbase at the moment here's a shot of tonight's waxing gibbous Moon giving a nice view of prominent lunar craters Tycho with it's large ray system on the right, and Copernicus with its less distinct rays on the left, with Kepler just below it.
