I watched Gareth Edwards awesome sci-fi, 'The Creator' again on Disney + last night, for probably the third time. A near future exploration of the apparent dangers of A.I, it features some jaw-droppingly beautiful tech designs, from drop-ships to automobiles and space stations to walking bombs.
The bombs are especially interesting, as they are a semi humanoid body, to transport a large explosive device into the heart of enemy strongholds and are controlled by an A.I persona. The above clip shows their deployment from a US Military supertank and the device signs off with a short statement to its C.O before pelting down the boardwalk to destruction.
The shape of them is very reminiscent of Mechatro WeGo personnel transports, made in kit form by Hasegawa and very popular as a toy in Japan.
The idea of WeGo is to be like a personal Taxi to take children safely to school, or to get people to work through heavy traffic.
The small 3" WeGo is partly diecast and comes with a special helipack to clip on the back. It has excellent articulation and many removable panels and hatches. the difficulty is in finding a figure to fit neatly inside.
The larger Hasegawa model kit is about 6" tall, is equally as well articulated and comes with a static child pilot figure.
The model versions are available in a wide variety of styles and colours and are ideal for customisation, such as the this Hideo Kojima 'Death Stranding' PS4 game version.

GReat shots of a lovely design. They always remind me of the SF3D suits. Kind of a civilian version of the military ones.
