usual there was a plethora of models and original props from TV and film on display. Mega modeller David Sisson had brought along a few from his collection, including his original 44" Eagle 1 which is always good to see.
David also brought along a relatively new build, an Interceptor from UFO. David ended up building three models, one of which now belongs to mega collector, James Winch who displayed it at SHADO Con 2.
The dimensions for the mould were taken from the only surviving original 25" prop, owned by Philip Rae.
Keeping with the UFO theme, here's David's SHADO Mobile 3, with the addition of a SHADO Control mobile radar dish.
Fireball XL5, a favourite of mine, complete with detachable Fireball Junior.
A non-Gerry Anderson model, but popular just the same is Starbug 1 from 'Red Dwarf'.
The Battletank from Terrahawks. I have to confess I'm not that fond of Terrahawks, a bit too infantile for me, but I do like the model designs.
A Cruiser from Space Precinct. Again, not a series I watch much. It was a bit of a mish-mash to me - Is it a Sci-fi soap opera ? Is it a police procedural show? Is it aimed at kids or adults? I just couldn't work it out.
Everyone's favourite Rolls Royce. This model, built by David was used in the old Swinton Insurance TV advert. It got damaged on the filming side and rather than fix it up it was filmed on the opposite side and film was flipped, hence the reversed number plate.
