As there's a bit of a buzz for War of the Worlds, here on Moonbase, here's a steam punk British Empire Martian Lander, named the H.G.Wells. This was on display at the recent Smallspace event.
The same builder also brought along a space model that looked very similar to one of the Martin Bower designed spacecraft built for the aborted live action Dan Dare TV series.
There was some lovely models there, Kev. (you should display your stuff there sometime). As it was a Blake's 7 celebration there was plenty of original prop models, some of which I hadn't seen before. I'll be doing a more detailed post later.
They are rather nice.

ReplyDeleteGosh Woodsy,I've no idea, dozens I guess. The first one I went to was the first Fanderson convention in 1981.
