King Kong loved wrestling T. Rex in the movies. For fun I've put together four clips from You Tube comparing Kong's technique over the years: that's 84 years and four films!
I've missed out any juniors like his son or Mighty Joe Young for the mo.
See what you think.

No T. Rex this time. Kong's nemesis in this latest flick is the Skull Crawler!

You can play them al at once by clicking each film in this mini clipboard!

You got any Kong collectables? Games, books, records, toys?
I'm for the original.First saw it when I was five.I was upset when Kong killed the Rex,but was equally outraged when the planes got Kong.If you want pictures of Kong stuff, I've got a ton of them coming your way.
ReplyDeleteTa Brian. I too find the final scene of King Kong hard to watch. In fact it puts me off. At least Godzilla gets to return to the sea most times. I was pleased that Skull island avoided the usual sad story in New York.
DeleteI'm with Brian on the original, but I also like the 2005 version as well, Woodsy. Haven't seen Kong Skull Island yet. Wonder how it'll compare? :)
ReplyDeleteDon't forget Toho's King Kong Escapes, there's a battle with a famous dinosaur known a Gorosaurus.I remember quite a few Kong vs dino battles in Rankin/Bass's King Kong cartoon series also.
ReplyDeleteDon't know either of them Brian. Two more things to add to my list of stuff to watch!
