Just what do the Imai UFO Bases model scramble bug and the moon crawler look like? Not owning any of the Imai UFO base kits I have no idea. I know what the Moon Prospector looks like thanks to collector Chris King - its all blue with a red radar dish as pictured above.
In an attempt to get down what I do know I've put all the pictures together in one place. See above. The Imai SWORD vehicles are shown in black and white on the left but as I've said, only the prospector is shown in colour. I've never seen the other two. Have you?
For completeness I've shown the later Aoshima UFO Moon Base versions of the 3 SWORD vehicles, together with painted examples I've found on the net.
To help visualise possible two-colour schemes of the two missing Imai SWORD vehicles here are what the Imai Sky1 and SHADO Mobile look like from the same UFO Base kits. Pictures of the missing scramble bug and moon crawler would be welcomed readers!
