WILL OSBORNE'S TOPPER ROCKET BASE, TUDOR ROSE SPACE EXPLORER AND THE SOLAR-X 7 AND 8

Hi. Here are some pictures of the Topper Rocket Base USA.

My late father used to tell me that people would see the window display and come into the toy shop wanting to buy the toy, but when he gave them the actual object as pictured here, they used to say no no, I want the one like the one in the window!

He had to explain that it was all packed in to the small box and they would get everything that they saw in the window, but without the surrounding display of course.

The third and fourth pictures are Tudor Rose's X-400 Space Explorer with box.

and the fifth and sixth pictures are tinplate Japanese battery operated toys who’s design looks very familiar! All the best.

OH BRUDER, ITS ROSITA!

 I love this so I saved the listing pics.

Seen on the Spanish Todocolleccion site, its a sort mini space vehicles gift set by Rosita:

Those who maybe collect small space toys might be familiar with Bruder toys from West Germany. Well, you can probably see that this set contains what look like Bruder space vehicles.

Interestingly there's a vehicle on the box that I don't associate at all with Bruder. Its the Wasser Spinne, a sort of flying boat and can be seen roughly in the middle of the picture just on the left edge of the planet ring. I bought a largish plastic Wasser Spinne about ten years ago and wonder if there is a mini version here.

The alien figures are fun in red and green.

You can see the Bruder-type toys close-up here. Have you got any?

There are also some Manta Force-type smaller figures too in yellow.

Regrading that Wasser Spinne again, I'm wondering if its the mini toy far left that's obscured by the wrapping?

THE TINIEST DIE-CASTS

getting so much pleasure (as always!) From your blog.

As an addendum to the chat from Paul Adams of NZ last year about duck cars...

I don't have the Hollywood Rides micro die casts of the Batmobile or Duck car, but I do have the Back to the Future 3 pack, which I'm sending you along with a World's Smallest Hot Wheels beside a pen for scale.

I love these old Kaiju blasters you get in Japan. This laccy band powered rocket machine-gun fires red-tipped rocket darts that look very familiar.

Compare them to the Project SWORD Probe Force 1 toy. What do you think?
