Good Lord, I had one of these in the Sixties!
Was it called Spiral Art!
This modern one is basically the packaging box with a small motor attached to it and sent through the post like that!
I love how my daughter has framed Moonbase Junior's and Miss's pictures.
Did you spiral?
I remember having one.
ReplyDeleteBut, I must have been 3-4 years old.
Don't remember actually playing with it.
Probably my older brothers did.
I think by the time I arrived (Son number 4) my mom was tired of the mess it made. :)
Probably covered in splatter too Scott. You'd still like it. Get one on Amazon!
DeleteNever did this until I was at a fair with my young daughter. Still have our pictures somewhere.
ReplyDeleteA great memory Baron!
DeleteOh Wow!
ReplyDeleteDoes this take me back to the 60's!
I never had the toy, but my parents took me to The Ideal Home Show at the Olympia exhibition hall in Kensington.
(I also went to Royal Tattoos there)
One of the exhibitors at the Home Show was a stall with a paint spinner machine and I made my very own (much treasured) modern art painting.
Thanks for reviving that memory!
I wonder if it was the Spiro Matic I had Looey? https://projectswordtoys.blogspot.com/2016/01/spiro-matic-toy-by-denys-fisher-1969.html?m=1
