I watched a large part of the movie on TV this Halloween and was surprised at how cheesy it seemed. I first knew of Lon Chaney Jr from the TV show Hawkeye and the Last of the Mohicans where he played Chingachgook. It looked as if the Wolf Man was aimed at a younger audience except for the gruesome ending.
It's funny but I have a hard time watching ANYTHING on TV anymore. The result of old age and disinterest, and constant interruptions and noise here in the Berg Looney Bin. This year I watched (but could barely listen to) the Harry Potter series. That was it.
Which is your favourite Universal monster, Ed?
ReplyDeleteI think Dracula followed by Franky and Wolfie. The Creature is just frog legs waitin' to be served! :-)
DeleteI’m with you! The Creature never did nothin for me. SFZ
DeleteDon't go by the pool guys... that's all I'm sayin' :)
