I'm seeing Guada - or is it Gauda? - attack ships all over the place now! Even when they aren't Gauda at all!
Here's another sci-fi mash-up, Space Ship King. Star Trek meets what?
It came in different colours!
What do you think?

There is a theme here! Not sure how good those attack ships really were, they shoot down our heroes ship, but it was only a commercial freighter anyway, not much of a fight!
ReplyDeleteThere are hardly any images of those Guada attack ships Kev online. I wonder if they were mentioned in that Merchandise book you contributed to? The Blue Box connection to Blakes 7 is intriguing.
DeleteI don't think they were specifically mentioned (though the jotastar toys were). No, there aren't many images of those ships. They only feature in one sequence in the final episode of the series. Never seen the props anywhere, wonder if they're still out there?
DeleteBatteries Not Included mashed up with Star Trek:TNG ?
ReplyDeleteha ha, bang on Timmy!
DeleteIts a beautiful design. Any "flying saucer" design with an added tail section, although improbable in the extreme, is dear to my heart: including the much-maligned original Thunderbird 5...
ReplyDeleteYes, I like TB5 too Looey. Among collectors the Rosenthal TB5 is the least popular in terms of design as its not entirely right. On the other hand its fascinating to think that there are two two parts that JR21 found and put together to make that toy, the saucer body and that clunky add-on. I've never found that clunky add-on on any other toy but I'm still looking!
