Have these GI Joe Action Men got stockings on their heads? These fighting men get everywhere!
This is a Hema toy Police car I saw online.
Maybe those figures are Action Team?
Have you found them in strange places readers?

US Police in a Lambourghini Countach! Nice
ReplyDeleteIs that the Brooklyn bridge Wote?
DeleteI'm not convinced that's genuine GI Joe, Woodsy. Maybe he's been framed by some KO imposter. Any crime scene finger prints from his Kung Fu gripping hands, eh? Innocent until proven guilty, I say :)
ReplyDeleteI see what you mean Tone. Those fused fingers look a bit cheapo. It was the ginger hair that fooled me. I immediately thought of those ginger Action Men and Joes. Looking again at the policeman the uniform looks a lot like an airplane pilot!
ReplyDeleteDifficult to tell from the pic Woodsy, but I'd guess the figures are actually Mego size? Their articulation and appearance suggests Mego or Lion Rock. The bank van may be a custom piece which started life as a Mego Bat-Lab or an Action Jackson Campmobile. Seems like the same mould Mego used.
ReplyDeleteMy money is on Action Jackson size figures, either AJ or knock offs. Looking at the boots and belts, those scream to me 8" size not 12". Pretty sure those aren't Big Jim figures as BJ hands can't hold squat because of their hard plastic while these look to be softer, Megoish plastic.
DeleteThanks Lance. Action Jackson looks good. Any ideas about the van? Tony suggests a AJ Campmobile.
DeleteThe van is the AJ Campmobile or a knockoff of it, good eye, Tony! It has been stickered up for this photoshoot to make it a money truck/armored car, but the blue body with whit roof is a match as are the wheels. Taking in the van size and how the figures scale with it, and not counting on these being knock offs, I would say they are definitely AJs with their Campmobile repurposed.
DeleteNice photospread of the Campmobile with AJ in that iconic blu jump suit and white boots: https://www.megomuseum.com/actionjackson/accesscampmobile.html
Great info Lance. Thanks for that. The link was fascinating. There was even Australian variants of the camper too!
