Last month I netted these little morsels at the local outdoor sale.
After a bit of googling and help from Wotan I managed to get an ID for most of the parts and toys.
Here goes. Look for the bit ringed in white. If you know any please let me know!
Matchbox Super Kings K-20 Cargo Hauler yellow barrels
Key ring figure - unknown. No makers mark. The boy has an odd contraption on his raised hand.
Hot Wheels red atomic waste container. The rest is a mystery.
Vintage green and yellow and blue pre-school figure. origin unknown.
Red traffic cone. Origin unknown.
Small plastic silver and blue space vehicle by Bruder of West Germany.
Matchbox Volvo truck Co-op container.
Matchbox Rod Roller. How cool is that!
and thanks to Wotan, the strange die-cast space car is part of this unusual Quad Car by Creata dated 1982.
Here's a complete carded one. Wow!
Pictures borrowed from the internet.
Have you got any of these toys or parts?
I think the barrels from the Matchbox Super King truck might also have been the load provided with the 1-75 series No.51 John Deere Trailer, from 1964. This had three yellow plastic barrels without the red pallet. It looks like Matchbox made up the load from existing bits and pieces.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting Paul. I see what you mean.
DeleteThat quad car appears to be heavily influenced by/a knock off of Cho Supercar Gattiger. It is a subpar anime from the late 70s but was insanely popular in Italy.
ReplyDeleteHere's a current auction for one https://tinyurl.com/y6r8uq69

Fabulopus Lance. I could never have made that connection. You really know your toys. The world of Anime die-cast from Japanese is a speciality I'm not that au fait with. Cheers for the info.
