After pulling out a few items to photograph the Titan set, including the moon surface from a Johnny Astro set, I thought I would take the opportunity to shoot some other small space toys against it. As a result and for no reason other than the fact that they look good, here is a random assortment of LP and other brands of space toys. At the top, we have the weird 'lipstick' style rocket from a unknown rack-style toy. Unbranded, the red cone pops off, but there's no discernable makers mark.
Next, the venerable Titan Rocket from the Multiple Toymakers set, escorted by the Apollo Moon Exploring Security Copter.
Up next is another variation on the Titan, again unbranded, but with different decals. Both versions originally had the 'satellite' ball on the top hastily painted a garish pink (and my original toy in 1970 had the same) - so to make the newer one less garish, I painted it silver! Patrolling the base of the custom gantry is one of my favourite LP toys, the Saucer Mobile.
No roundup of LP would be complete without the ubiquitous LP Rocket, here sporting the extended second stage.
I love these little rockets so much, I asked professional modeller Kevin D to build me a large scale version!
A collection of assorted rockets including pencil sharpeners and the neat little Dime Bank!
On to the Apollo Moon Exploring miniatures, iconic toys in their own right, flagrantly ripping off Mattel and the Matt Mason Firebolt Space Cannon in green and blue versions!
Walking away with the almost identical Space Crawler! Below is a unique (but pretty ordinary) Moon Buggy.
Two versions of the classic Saucer Vehicle rolling by, I favour the red/green variety myself.
Giving both Spacex and Project Sword the bird with this nifty little Prospector copy -
- and right back to Major Matt Mason with a decent portrayal of the Mattel Astro Trac toy.

Wotan - excellent selection of small scale space stuff! :-)
