On a recent voyage into the attic I found this old adventure game.
Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons by Peter Pan Playthings 1993.
It was part of the Gerry Anderson TV revival in the early 90's.
The board is lovely and even features a Zero-X MEV.
The contents look simple enough and even I could play it I think!
I love the miniature SPV's!
Don't forget the indestructions.
Peter Pan Playthings were a nice toy company and I've had quite a few of their toys and games in the attic at one time or another.
Do you remember this game?
i don'tmremember the game but miniatures are great! ew
ReplyDeleteIt is a long time ago EW. It was part of the second wave of popuparity for all things Gerry Anderson here in the UK around 1991 - 1993 I would say. Hundreds of new toys and games and household items were released as kids once again stayed in to watch Thunderbirds on the telly! Like 1966 all over again!
DeleteAnd worth it just for that amazing box illustration!
ReplyDeleteIt is good. I think its probably Steve Kyte the artists but I'm not sure. He was to the go to guy in the early Nineties for Supermarionation art.
