Here's something I did a while ago but only just worked out how to upload it. Via You Tube! It's a short film about JR toys, those cool plastic novelties made by Jack Rosenthal's company before he discovered Thunderbirds! I personally love 'em!
Excuse my rather monotonous drone. I compare it to the snores of sleeping crows on the distant wastes of the Pennines. Enjoy!
The 'monotonous drone' I could live with - the poor lighting and casting your own shadow over the toys was really frustrating 'though. (If you don't mind me saying.)
ReplyDeleteHa ha i think the cameramans shadow adds a naive charm to the piece!
ReplyDeletemaking video's is indeed fraught with technical problems and there's a definate knack to it, which I haven't got yet! For my next short flick I went into the garden so hopefully it'll be better lit at least - release date, this Sunday.
ReplyDeleteIt's all a learning curve, Woodsy. Filming small toys , especially moving ones is not easy. There's focusing problems for one thing . One thing I've found a nuisance is Blogger only allowing a maximum of 100 meg on a video which means a lot of the picture quality is lost. Your idea of using YouTube sounds a good idea.
