The Die has been Cast

More of my die-casts past. These departed MoonBase a few weeks back. Great fun to find them in the first place. Toy cars make a superb collection and are relatively easy to come across. Do you collect toy cars?

Make Way for the Space Beetle



I've always liked these cake box 21st Century space toys.

This is their Space Beetle.

It reminds me of a few other toys and kits I've seen, but looks good in its own right.

I have a feeling that when operated it can 'stand up' on those treads. Is that right?

Anyone got one?

How Did You Get To High School?

My secondary school, a catholic high, was a good way away from home so it required a decent stroll and a bus journey.

The walk was OK but ever day it became tedious. My mates made it doable.

The bus journey, specially the return, wasn't great.

A double decker of teenage dark energy!

I got stuffed inside a box seat at the back once and missed my stop by loads! 

Sounds funny now but it wasn't at the time!

Thank God those bus journeys are over!
