For the past few days this trio of images showing Santa in his workshop  have been doing the rounds  once again this year on social media. I've no idea who's created them but I think they're fun.

U.F.O. - UNBEATABLE FASHION OPPORTUNITIES

 I've posted this article from the 1970  TV Times edition of Christmas With The Stars  which shows some of the costumes from the UFO TV series before, but as it 's Christmas I thought time for a reminder.

When I originally bought a copy of this TV Times special at the time UFO hadn't yet been screened on my local TV station,. I was getting the UFO annual for Christmas 1970, and Countdown comic hadn't been published yet,  so this was my first look at Gerry & Sylvia Anderson's new series.

Xmas on Approach

The big day is almost upon us and all my plans to get stuff done while I had a day or two off have gone out the cockpit window!

So here's a work in progress shot or two of my Von Braun Mars Probe. It's about 90% done, just needs a paintwork touch up and some decals.

Like Xmas, it's almost here!

CHRISTMAS TOYS

When the day was done the toys stood still,

the fire crew parked the tender,

 

the driver of the big tall crane,

well, he just can't remember.

The dolls and plane piled in the box,

and waited for the sun.

When on Boxing day the kids shall play

and the toys will live again.
