We've seen this beautiful little model space van before on Moonbase Central. I love it myself. What about you? Not sure about its name sorry.

THUNDERBLUE?
I've often wondered if there is such a thing as Thunderbirds blue?
Here's the Wombat on the rolling road. Its a quite wonderful blue shade.
SPACE TRUCKS' LP SPACEMEN
I read this page on Alphadrome by super keen SpaceX and APEX collector Steve Nyland of New York. Its a fascinating look at Steve's vast collection of LP spacemen and their relatives.
LOVELY NEW ROTOR: KEV'S IMAI SPECTRUM HELICOPTER
Managed to get this kit recently at a not-silly price. I didn't bother with the toy elements, big wheels, spring loaded missiles etc. I filled the holes where they would've been and changed the profile of the floats slightly and it seems a reasonably faithful replica to me.

SPACE TOY ADVERTS
Some nice space toys advertised here! What do you like?
TOYS U AD
I had fun visiting a vintage toy stall in Doncaster Corn Exchange today, Toys U Ad. It was chock full of vintage toys from different eras, many boxed and a good selection of loose stuff.
I took a quick snap of one of the window sides of the stall.
Well worth a visit and a friendly stall owner too.
I picked up this handful of lovely old toy cars for a fiver.
MARJORY DAWD
I've always liked the Sea Sword that appears briefly in the Project SWORD Annual.
Its a largely a ship but can also travel on dried channels as you can see above.
It would have made a great toy from Century 21 Toys!
Always on the look out for possible stand-ins for the Sea Sword this week I spotted a gorgeous toy craft that might well do.
What do you think?
PS. there is a real craft called Sea Sword from South Korea. Unmanned and military and rather ominous.
Kevins Blakes 7 Prop Abused
As mentioned earlier in the 'Shady Characters/Memory Lane' post, BBC TV show 'Pebble Mill at One' ran a Blakes 7 piece, back in the day and feautured Gareth Edwards (Blake) and Jacqueline Pierce (Servalan) from the show. One of Kevin Davies replica Liberator Guns was featured and Gareth appears to have become a little over appreciative of his workmanship!
