AMERICA'S WILDEST SHOW RODS BOOK REVIEW BY PAUL A
MICKEY'S MAKEOVER
This was my first die-cast 'commission'!
Mickey Mouse in his jeep looking a bit worse for wear.
A friend asked me if I could patch it up. She made me sausage and chips in exchange.

CLIP CLIP CLIPPER
I love my new Clipper.
REMEMBERING KEN HOLT
A few more photos of Ken Holt, who would have been celebrating his ninety-second birthday today.
As I mentioned in my previous post this morning, Ken was the production manager at the Century 21 Stirling Road studios running the day to day operations of the studio, like ordering countless fire extinguishers following the endless special effects explosions, or occasionally wine and dining various film people at The King's Arms pub in nearby Cookham village.
It was thanks to his grand- daughter, Georgina who saw some posts relating to Ken's work at C21 and decided to contact the blog. Through a video call, Wotan interviewed Ken about his work. Following this Ken became an occasional visitor to the blog, often commenting on posts.
I was lucky enough to meet up with Ken at various conventions, and briefly chat to him about his time at Century 21.
Happy heavenly birthday, sir.

Here is a fun 54-minute look at giant monster movies, including all those mutant bugs from the 1950s. Actually some do feature miniaturised people, which turns everything around them in to monsters.
There is also a segment on Godzilla movies. Lots of old movie clips. Narrated by Billy Mumy - Will Robinson from Lost in Space.

MANY HAPPY RETURNS, KEN
Remembering blog friend, and all round lovely bloke, Ken Holt on what would have been his birthday.
Ken, of course was well known as the former Century 21 Production Manager, and attended several conventions.
Here's a few photos from the 2014 event that took place at RAF Cosford.
