A few more photos of Ken Holt, who would have been celebrating his ninety-second birthday today.
As I mentioned in my previous post this morning, Ken was the production manager at the Century 21 Stirling Road studios running the day to day operations of the studio, like ordering countless fire extinguishers following the endless special effects explosions, or occasionally wine and dining various film people at The King's Arms pub in nearby Cookham village.
It was thanks to his grand- daughter, Georgina who saw some posts relating to Ken's work at C21 and decided to contact the blog. Through a video call, Wotan interviewed Ken about his work. Following this Ken became an occasional visitor to the blog, often commenting on posts.
I was lucky enough to meet up with Ken at various conventions, and briefly chat to him about his time at Century 21.
Happy heavenly birthday, sir.
