As a couple of comments earlier mentioned the F-35 Lightning, I thought I'd repost a few photos I've taken at the various Southport and Blackpool Air shows I've attended.
I should admit I've only ever seen an F-35 landed, so I can't say how loud it is, but I have seen the Eurofighter Typhoon several times fly low in front of the watching crowds, and setting off every car alarm on the beach with the sound of its engines.
Here's a few photos of some of the jet aircraft I've seen on display.
Another impressive aircraft is the retired SAAB 37 Viggen.
A MiG -15UTI. Sadly, Yuri Gagarin died, together with pilot Vladimir Seryogin in a plane like this

The Lockheed T-33. An aircraft like this featured in the vintage sci-fi flick,
This Island Earth.
