KEV'S NEW SCOUT 1

Hi,

For the first time in ages, I have added to my Project Sword collection with a Scout 1.

Only Scout 3 and the Nuclear Ferry to go! (Oh, and the Moonbase of course!).

SIXTEEN 12 'THE EXILES' EAGLE EPISODE SET

As a few people are happy to see my reposted 16/12 Eagle photos, here's another look at some photos I've previously published which this time feature the third Sixteen 12 'Episode Set' release: The Exiles.

This limited edition set came out in May, 2019, and featured a manipulator arm, cyrogenic pod, laser gun, and fuel cell.

It's fair to point out that not all the accessories appeared in The Exiles, and that the manipulator arm is longer than we see in the episode. I can live with that, and it appears it didn't matter to buyers either, as this set became another sell out on the Sixteen 12 website.

SIXTEEN 12 IMMUNITY SYNDROME EAGLE

Another set of previously seen photos, this time it's the second of the Sixteen 12 Eagle episode sets, featuring the Glider as seen in the second season Space:1999 episode, 'Immunity Syndrome'.

Another limited edition set, which came out in January, 2019.

The highly detailed (and glossy) glider is lovely addition, and attaches magnetically to the pod , through the girder superstructure.

The pod did suffer from some over weathering issues which certainly did spoil the overall look , but it didn't stop the model being a sell out on the Sixteen 12 website.

ROB'S MATE'S 3 ASSORTED GIANT TRUCKS SET

Here is the 3 Assorted Giant Trucks Set: I could find no reference to this beautiful set of three BIG (11”) pressed steel trucks online, so if anybody finds anything out about this set, let me know.

The owner dates them as early 1960s. The trucks (which I was afraid to touch) look to be in near mint condition, but the box is in tough shape. The brand is S&E of Japan.

An amazing find, I think.

HURRAH FOR THE HOLDRAKETE

I have a soft spot for the Hungarian Holdrakete.

It was one of the first vintage toys I bought as a collector back in the early 1990's. I got mine at a toy fair. I adored the box.

The rocket's hidden uprighting device was a gem, triggered by the spring-loaded nose antenna, which did its stuff if it hit a wall.

Alas I sold mine in the heady Ebaying days of the Noughties.

Here it is in my early collection in the 1990's.

CAMBERWICK GREEN MOTORCYCLE MYSTERY SOLVED!

Hi Woodsy,

Thanks for posting that Camberwick Green TV clip the other week. I found this still of the Chimney Sweep's bike and sidecar online. The bike looks distinctive, twin front forks etc.

and you're not going to believe this but I've found what it is!

This Coral Police Motor Cycle Patrol toy.

Its a scratchbuild of the sidecar probably.
