You got it for a great price Kev too. I'm amazed it didn't go much higher but I'm pleased it didn't. The original radar is a real coup. Mine Scout 1 I got in the 90's had a roxy space car radar, the round one. Another Scout I've seen has the rounded oblong radar of the Firefly XYZ. Well done getting the real thing!
I'll need more than luck, I think it is probably true that more people have walked on the moon than own a Sword Nuclear Ferry. I must admit, doing some Spacex2 scratchbuilds does have some appeal.
Not sure if I commented this or not but the spec sheet can be printed off here Kev https://projectswordtoys.blogspot.com/2010/11/blog-exclusive-scout-id-sheet-to-print.html
Nice one, Kev, and complete with radar too!
ReplyDeleteThanks, yep not bad condition at all really, though I did have to fake the missile!

ReplyDeleteYep, I do think I got lucky there. Nice to have the box but I've never really been bothered about boxes (or is that sacrilegious?)
DeleteGood luck getting a ferry Kev! How about scratchbuilding a large Spacex version? We've not had an addition to the custom fleet for ages!

Deletegreat sea based shots too!
ReplyDeleteThanks very much. Not easy doing dioramas at the moment, most of my stuff is packed away with no immediate prospect of it getting unpacked!
DeleteHave you got the Scout spec sheet Kev?
ReplyDeleteNo, that's something I've not got. I used to pore over the Sword manual as a kid, never knowing there were craft that weren't in it!
