CAPTAIN SCARLET MAGICAR SET 2: ESCAPE AND CAPTURE

The second of three Captain Scarlet magicar sets issued by Rovex Triang in 1967, Escape and Capture.

Remember a time when getting a carded set of small plastic charms would have made your day?

The Prisoner TV series, some people loved it and some people struggled to understand it. As the 17 part series unfolded viewers at the time all wondered who Number One was going to be, even series show runner Patrick McGoohan it would seem.

One thing Patrick had definite ideas about was spin off merchandise, and was not prepared to see himself as 'a toy dolly'.

Dinky did manage to produce a 'Prisoner Mini Moke ' based on the Village Taxi seen in the series, but it appears to have had a very limited run.

I'll resist the temptation to say 'be seeing you!'

And for good measure here's the Lotus 7 model that came with the Prisoner and Dangerman part works set a few years ago.

MYSTERY PEDIGREE JOE 90 DOLL

I saw this on Worthpoint, an old auction for a Joe 90 doll. is it really a Joe 90 doll? It looks strange. Check out the description and let me know what you think.

"Rare Old Joe 90 character doll..Made in Hong Kong by Pedigree Toys back in the late 1960's .."Bendy" arms & legs although left arm doesn't bend at shoulder anymore..In tidy condition for age but does have grubby marks to body & split to rubbery plastic at crotch..facial features excellent..needs a good clean to improve..Hair dishelved & hard to tell if been trimmed..approx 15cm tall"
