I was intrigued by this old magazine cover I saw online. Its a German sci-fi mag called Utopie from 1970.

Is that the Hood on the cover?

Did you Use Your Parent's Furniture to Play On?

Did you used to use the furniture in the house to play on or with?

Maybe a tent, a den, a race track, a train, a fort?

I used to sit on the back of the big sofa and ride it like a horse! ha ha

Yujin Thunderbirds and The Mole

I'm just archiving pictures from my old non-smart phone. The quality was terrible on it but there are a few interesting shots I took.

Here's a grouping of fantasy plastic I used to have at Moonbase.

The Imai smaller Zero X box is obvious and the small Thunderbirds models were made by Yujin.

As far as I recall the silver jet is from Ultraman and there's a variation of the mole but I've no idea of the makes. You?

Have you got any small plastic Gerry Anderson or similar vehicles?

Paul Kaiju's Fantastic Toys

Moon X Toy Rocket by Tomy

This is the MOON X by Tomy.

Its a toy rocket completely new to me.

I saw these pictures on Yahoo Japan and there was very little information.

There appears to be a string coming out of the nose. Does anyone know what that's for?

New Jersey Shore in Winter

Hi Woodsy.

This time of year I have to get outside and escape all this Winter melancholia.

I find a poignant beauty in our shore points. This 2 mile promenade is mostly deserted, all shops closed except an arcade and a candy store. A good way to get some fresh air.
